Silica Safety Training
Description:
Silica Safety Training is designed to show employees working with Silica the
health hazards associated with Silica exposure, and where does Silica originate.
Other objectives covered in this two hour course will be Engineering Controls,
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) minimum requirements, exposure limits,
and exposure control plan. This training is in compliance with OSHA
standard 29 CFR 1926.1153.

crushing of concrete, brick, rock, and stone products including sand
and sand blasting which could result in the inhalation of small particles of
crystalline silica.
