During these uncertain times, the Chamber Board has come together to reflect on the core mission and structure of our organization. That reflection has brought on some proposed changes to the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Bylaws. The Board appointed a committee to review the bylaws and the proposed bylaws are available by clicking here . You can also request a copy of the proposed bylaws by contacting the Chamber Office. The major changes to highlight are:
- Updates to the term of the Nominating Committee and the Election of Directors (Article IV, Sections D & E)
- Changes to the cycle of financial audits performed by the JACC (Article VIII, Section C)
- Each Committee Chairperson will be invited to the monthly Board of Directors meetings to promote a more cohesive effort towards our mission.
As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, you have the right to approve or deny these changes at the Membership Meeting.
